Solana Beach

Adventures to experience

Walk Cedros Avenue from Via De La Valle to Lomas Santa Fe Drive. There are many shops and some food and drinks locations one can visit or window shop.

Between Cedros and Via De La Valle is a pedestrian bridge over the train tracks one can take west that leads to Dahlia Drive.

One can continue to walk to Sierra Avenue and head north or south. This is residential and has a couple beach access trails between residential condos. There are a few public parking locations.

If you do not go left on the pedestrian bridge keep walking down to Lomas Santa Fe to then head left to Fletcher Cove Beach Park. The North side of the park has an overlook and few seats. There are public bathrooms, and a place to wash your feet from the sand. There is a kids playground, and half court basketball hoop with some picnic tables.

The beach is sandy and one can walk towards dog beach (to the South) you wish, this is a 1.4 mile walk from Fletcher Cover Beach to the San Dieguito River. A couple stairs along the way can take you up street side to S Sierra Avenue if you wish to cut your route off earlier. There are a few public parking places on S S Sierra Avenue.
